The Cross Point church has reached out and got the Christmas lights. They were shown the technique for hanging lights on the trees.
The Dala Town crew saw a preview of the highschool play and said it looked great so far - the performance of the play will happen on November 10, 11, and 12.
There is officially a hole in the wall at Sister Bojangles for the expansion to happen and they are expected to be open on November 12th with the new renovations. They will be adding furniture to the store that will be for sale and featuring a rustic artist that will have items for sale as well.

The Old Mill is doing an event on November 29th - admission by paying what your heart tells you.
Heritage Christmas at the Old Mill is December 10th.
There is an opening at the Sandzen Gallery this Sunday from 2-4pm.
Friday is the Tara Killingsworth show at Smoky Valley Arts and Folklife Center.
American Legion Riders is having a breakfast fundraiser on November 12 from 8-11am.
Boy Scouts is having a pancake feed on November 12th from 6am-12pm.
Holiday Open House is on November 12th - Kick Off to the Holiday Season - there will be a scavenger hunt, you can shop to enter in a grand prize drawing, and there will be photo opportunities.
Cars and Coffee - Christmas Edition on November 19th - there will be cars downtown that you can take pictures with that are decorated for Christmas and will have seating in front for the pictures.
On December 2nd is Pjs and Pancakes at the Bethany College Cafeteria from 5:30-7:30pm where the community can interact with students.
Small Business Saturday on November 26th - the kits were ordered for businesses - the outlook this year is thanking people for shopping small. The Holiday Committee will also be paying for hot chocolate for the first 100 customers.
Tasks for Upcoming Events/Moving Ad Hoc Forward:
It was discussed that there should be an information sheet/handout that has more details about events that are going on in Lindsborg.
It was said that they have information about major events on the Visit Lindsborg site and Dala Town said that they have posted some information as well.
Someone brought up that they were asked if King Midas is coming back this year. They were told that this was Ad Hocs decision. It was then said that the banks usually help in this. Attendants that were present at Ad Hoc from Lindsborg Banks said that they are willing to help fund this. The overall general consensus is yes, that they would be back and the potential date is August 19th.
A potential idea from this was also doing a kickoff to summer with another band coming in and performing.
The Hospital is seeing a big uptake in Influenza A. It was said to remember distance, consider masking, and get vaccinated. They are also seeing more RSV cases as well.
There is a need for more singers for Heritage Christmas at the Mill. If interested, please contact them.
The idea was brought up about as a community, how do we go about filling up store fronts as it is important for people to see buildings filled and it is important that we have restaurants in town.
